It was dreamed up during my many years behind the bar as a barista and in the kitchen messing around with roasting on my stove. In fact, it is one of the very few coffee companies in Orlando and Central Florida that was started by a person actually working in coffee. My core focus for Ligature was to create a company where I could highlight amazing, delicious, modern coffees, all while championing the stories and identities of the people behind the coffee, the coffee producers themselves.My goal is to use Ligature as a platform for all of us to learn more about coffee, and how we can make this industry more equitable for all. I’ve learned a lot along the way, and I am hoping there are many more coffees and lessons to come. I am hoping with Ligature we can tie together our love for coffee with our humanity and a desire for things to be better.
We currently do not have a retail space (bummer I know), but we sell coffee online! We also work with business all over and are always trying to add more. If you live in the Orlando/Central Florida area, you can reach out and coordinate a pickup of some coffee if you don’t want to pay for shipping.
Oh and here in Orlando, we try to do pop-ups occasionally to keep things interesting for us while also having you interact with our coffees in new and exciting ways.
